Trip Summary
Day 1 – Arrival in Windhoek
Upon arrival at the Windhoek International Airport or Eros Regional Airport you are met by a representative of Essence lifestyle who will transfer you to our head office. Here you will have time to kick, back, relax and take in your new surroundings. An Essence Lifestyle representative will run through your exciting fly in safari in detail and will provide you with your travel documents as well as an accompanying surprise from us. After your briefing you will be transferred to your accommodation, if you are not staying at Essence Lifestyle.

Day 2 – Windhoek to Eastern Etosha Boundary
From Windhoek International Airport or Eros Regional Airport you will fly over the Khomas Hochland and head north to the Eastern Boundary of the Etosha National Park where you’ll spend the following two nights at the newest member of the Onguma collection at Onguma Camp Kala. Upon arrival at the local airstrip a representative of Onguma Camp Kala will transfer you to the lodge where you can look forward to a host of experiences. Camp Kala is centered around a busy waterhole with game viewing from numerous quality vantage points to take it all in, this includes the chic and comfortable lounge, the sleek hide, cocktail bar or the gorgeous deck.

Day 3 – Onguma Camp Kala and Etosha
After breakfast this morning, you take part on an exciting game drive within Etosha National Park. The Onguma Camp Kala ranger is experienced and will be focused on ensuring you get the best viewing opportunities possible. You return to camp at around lunchtime after which you have the remainder of the afternoon at leisure. PM activities are also offer and Camp Kala and we definitely recommend a trip to the Onkolo hide as well as a sundowner game drive on the Onguma Private Reserve.

Day 4 – Onguma Camp Kala to Anderssons at Ongava
After what should have been a memorable stay at Onguma Camp Kala, you’ll be making your way from the Eastern Boundary of the Park to the southern boundary by air, where the difference in the rainfall gradient will allow for a more diverse range of animal sightings. Pay attention to how the vegetation changes from area to area and savor the short flight. Upon arrival at the Ongava Airstrip, a representative of Ongava will collect you and transfer you to Anderssons at Ongava where you will spend the following two nights on a fully inclusive exclusive basis.

Day 5 – Anderssons at Ongava and Etosha
This morning you will rise early and head into the Etosha National Park with an Ongava Guide and vehicle, you spend the next few hours on an exciting game drive taking in the sights and sounds of the savannah. Etosha offers the traditional classic African wildlife safari with all of the big game and plains species present. Top this with a unique national park that has a massive pan in the middle surrounded by natural waterholes and you have an exceptional game viewing experience. After an afternoon Salsa you can take part on an exciting game drive on the Ongava Private Reserve ending in a surreal sundowner.

Day 6 – Etosha to Damaraland
After breakfast you are transferred to the Ongava Airstrip for your scheduled flight to scenic Damaraland. You’ll arrive at the Doro Nawas Airstrip where you will be transferred to Damaraland Camp, your home for the next two nights. The Huab River Valley is one of Namibia’s richest wilderness areas and it forms the backdrop to Wilderness Damaraland Camp. As the sun dips below the horizon, the vistas infront of the main area turn from rust to purple. This land is full of geological wonders and fascinating desert-adapted wildlife.

Day 7 – Damaraland Camp and surrounds
Today is reserved for a host of activities as offered by Damaraland Camp. Enjoy a drive with a lodge guide in an open-air 4×4 vehicle in search of Namibia’s desert-dwelling elephants, of which there is estimated to be about 150 left. Knowledgeable guides provide information about the area and assist with spotting the Elephants and other desert adapted wildlife. Nature walks as well as scenic drive in the area are also on offer allowing you to feel sheer desolation of Namibia’s north west.

Day 8 – Damaraland Camp to Windhoek
After breakfast this morning, you will be transferred back to the Doro Nawas Airstrip for your scheduled flight back to the Windhoek international Airport in time for your international departure flight, do ensure your departure flight is no earlier than 16h00 so as to make time for the flight from Doro Nawas airstrip to Windhoek as well as check in. if your flight is earlier in the day, we will be more than glad to assist you with a further night in Windhoek at Essence Lifestyle or similar.
